MOVIE The Muppets will be shown at the Plough Arts Centre in a fundraiser for North Devon Hospice.

The Muppets are back but broke and it looks like only Walter, a man born as a muppet, can save Kermit and the gang from the money grabbing advances of an oil magnate. Walter and his new friends must put on a show to end all shows to save their home, the Muppets Theatre.

Proceeds from the event will go to North Devon Hospice, helping it to care for patients and families affected by cancer and other life-limited illnesses.

The hospice supports more than 2,000 local people every year, and all of their specialist care is provided free of charge. However, this is only possible due to the ongoing support of the North Devon community.

The event, which includes tea, cakes and live music is on Saturday, January 25, 4pm, followed by The Muppets movie at 5pm.

Tickets: £10 (adult), £7.50 (under 18). Box office: 01805 624624.
