THE former manager of a North Devon holiday park has appeared before a Crown Court judge accused of four counts of rape.
David Mason, who now lives at the Wormwell Holiday Park in Dorset, will face a three-day trial in May next year in front of a jury at Exeter Crown Court.
Mason, 55, is accused of four charges of rape which date back to the time in 2005 when he was manager of the Ruda Holiday Park at Croyde.
Judge Francis Gilbert, QC, set a timetable for the progress of the case and bailed Mason until the plea and case management hearing on November 15.
Mason spoke only to confirm his name and was not required to enter a plea.
