ONE of Tiverton's most historical landmarks opened its doors to the public at the weekend.
Knightshayes Court in Bolham hosted a heritage open day on Saturday, allowing members of the public to stroll around the Victorian country house, which was once home to the Heathcoat Amory family for 125 years.
The free admission event saw plenty of people make their way to the house and explore the Gothic interiors and the acres of garden and woodland.
For children there was an outdoor play area to run off steam and an indoor safari trail.
The heritage site has lots of events coming up over the next few months including The Great British Walk and a Halloween trail during the half-term next month.
