Our country is in big debt

IT IS a sad world that we live in. Here we are living in a country that we love but unfortunately is going to go bankrupt in the foreseeable future.

Why should I make this statement? This country has a national debt of £1.2 trillion pounds rising to £1.3 trillion in 2014. It costs us £46 billion interest charges before we pay anything off the debt. This cannot go on.

We first need to cut all the foreign aid that is been transferred to other countries and remember it is unaudited and concentrate on the state of this country for once.

The cost of HS2 and any future investment by this present government will only make the national debt greater. It has to stop. Forget this mythical world of the EU, it is strangling this country with its absurd rules and start to trade with Europe and dare I say it, the Commonwealth.

This is the only way to go forward and bring back some pride to the people of this once great country. Most of the foreign aid goes to countries like Nigeria, India, Ethiopia, Pakistan and Bangladesh, all with huge space programmes mostly funded by foreign aid.

So we will fund up to £12 billion on foreign aid just so that the Prime Minister can be seen to be doing the right thing at the expense of an ever spiralling national debt and the despair of the nation.

What about the poor people of the third world? As you read this article they are dying from lack of food and clean water. I agree that the people of poorer nations should all have the basic right to food, clean water and education but while corrupt governments spend money elsewhere this will never happen.

It has been said that UKIP wants to stop giving aid to foreign countries that have corrupt Governments and received a lot of flak for it. I think if you take a good hard look at the way foreign aid is being misused you will agree with UKIP.

Charity does indeed begin at home as we have no one who will help us in our hour of need. The Great has to be put back into Britain.
