Great fun for the holidays. Good for a range of ages and parents can have a nice sit down with a cup of coffee while the kids play on the climbing, ball pool, slides area. To all carers out there looking for a friendly place to take their service users The big sheep really is a great fun weather you look after children or adults, it is ramped through out so you can access all over the attraction. The staff are brilliant and very quick at helping you with anything you need.
If its energy you want to burn there is play area inside and if you find space an issues or to many people an issue there is lots of outside activities you can to. For a more sensory experience you can go in to see the animals and the staff will help you to hold stroke and feed the animals which is just wonderful.
The Big sheep will also let carers go in free which makes this place more affordable to service users who may have to have two carers which I feel is just brilliant as days out can get very expensive! Picnics are also welcome here to make your day out even cheaper!
The ideal place to visit when the children are driving you nuts !! come rain or shine this place has loads to do. The indoor play area is a hit when its raining outside and those baby lambs are a treat, check out the website to see whats on as there are special events like the easter egg hunt which will keep your tribe amused for hours. A great day out Thank you
This place is brilliant. I took my oldest boy to the The Ultimate High, which is next door but associated with The Big Sheep. Just brilliant. Great staff who really looked after us. We did the climbing wall and can't wait to go back in the summer to tackle the high wires.
Took my kids here for the half tem holiday.Arrived just after 10 and we was there all day,my boy wasnt that keen on the ice skating sorry but you can beat real ice!the baby lambs and the baby piglets were adorable though. To make up for the ice skating my boy loved the go karts couldnt get him off them. When we did mange too both the kids loved the bouncy mounds although they had wet feet after ! So next was the trampolines oh dear another lot of wet feet and a little muddy, maybe some patio slabs for when the ground isnt quite so dry would help the kids not get so muddy round the trampolines. But the mud was all forgotton when they got into the indoor play area, ordered the food but couldnt find anywhere to sit upstairs or downstairs for the 3 of us so had to sit and eat it outside was a little cold for this, but soon found a seat inside a bit later and could easily relax and ead my book while the kids enjoyed the play . i could also keep my eye on them too. Then of for a ride on the large swing (merry go round?) kids loved that anyway.great day out and half the prive with the vouchers of the internet!
Nobody can visit North Devon without a visit to the Big Sheep. There are loads of things to do and if doing isn't your thing, you can sit and drink coffee and have a chat or read a book while the children are off playing.
the main area, Eutopia, is full of climbing and sliding activities and a really good area for carers to sit and still keep an eye on the children while drinking a favourite beverage!
There are animal shows throughout the day and at 4pm there is the ultimate on the racing cards, the Big Sheep sheep race!
A really good day out, rain or shine.
