TWO men appeared at North Devon Magistrates' Court on Friday charged with allegedly carrying out a robbery in Ilfracombe on New Year's Day.
Ivor Braund, 36, of 99 Slade Road and Peter Wycherley, 36, of no fixed abode, made no pleas to the charge when they appeared before magistrates.
Ben Winzer, for the prosecution, said the robbery had taken place at Jonathan Hamlyn's property in Fore Street. The defendants are alleged to have taken a PS3, a laptop, £50 in cash and a mobile phone.
Wycherley has also been charged with being in possession of amphetamine and £605 worth of cannabis.
The case has been committed to Exeter Crown Court where the next hearing will take place on Friday, January 18.
