The Met Office have issued a yellow warning of heavy and persistent rain for the South West this Friday and Saturday.
It starts just after midnight on Friday and lasts until just before midnight on Saturday.
Bands of rain are likely to become slow moving across parts of the UK and locally more heavy and persistent rain will occur.
The forecast also includes a warning of disruption due to flooding.
There is uncertainty as to where and when the heaviest amounts of rainfall will take place so the alert will be updated tomorrow.
