A woman has suffered serious injuries after her vehicle collided with a telegraph pole and wall on the B3227 near Torrington this morning.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene at around 8.55am after the Volkswagen Golf TDI, registered to a Torrington address, crashed between Langtree and Taddiport.
The woman, who is believed to be in her early thirties, was still trapped in the car at 10.01am and was complaining of severe back pain.

Highways crews attended the scene to assess the damage caused to the road and wall, which is in danger of collapsing. The telegraph pole was also damaged and BT engineers were called to attend.
The road remains closed in both directions at Watergate and is expected to remain shut for some time.
Motorists are advised to follow a diverson via the A386.
Elsewhere, a section of the A39 remains closed following a three car crash near Bideford this morning.
