A 47-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested in Holsworthy after residents heard her being drunk and disorderly in their road last night.
The police were called to Dobles Lane at 1am where they then arrested the woman for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
Sergeant Pennie Channing said members of the public had called the police having heard the woman making noise outside their homes.
PC Andy Moakes wrote on the Holsworthy Neighbourhood Police Team Facebook page: “I apologise for any additional noise we may have caused while making the arrest. Stay safe.”
The woman has been held in custody overnight and is due to be released later today.
