Warwickshire have today confirmed Tom Allin will leave the county when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Allin, the 25-year-old pace bowler from Northam, has been playing for North Devon in the Francis Clark Devon League for the past month after being told his contract would not be renewed.
Allin, who has also played for Bideford, joined Warwickshire in 2008. He played one limited-overs match against Surrey in 2011 and was selected for his only first-class match in May this year against Middlesex at Edgbaston.
Chris Metters, the 22-year-old former Devon spin bowler from Torquay, will also leave Warwickshire at the end of the season after joining the county in 2011.
A statment posted on the Warwickshire website today said: “Tom Allin and Chris Metters are set to leave Warwickshire when their contracts expire at the end of the 2013 season.
“Both players remain part of the Bears squad until the end of the current season and the club wishes them every success for the future.”
