A VINTAGE fayre in Instow offered the perfect opportunity for people to pick up unique Christmas presents.

Held last weekend the event, which took place in the village hall, saw people peruse a choice of vintage goods including vintage fashion, homeware, French vintage items and more.

Fenella Sadler, one of the organisers of the fayre, said it has been going for two years and has attracted quite a following.

"We do them for the North Devon Hospice," she said. "All the funds raised go to them. We do have quite a lot of people who come every month and we have a regular hub of stallholders."

Fenella said the fayre was held once a month and people had come from all over Devon and Cornwall and the north of England to take part.
