DEVON Young Farmers have buried a time capsule to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs.

They joined in a ceremony at Hemyock, home of the first YFC.

The event included councillors and former members, including 84-year-old Brian Clist, a former club chairman from 1951.

Brian's father was the first vice-chairman of Hemyock YFC and attended the first calf sale on ground near the capsule's burial site.
