SIX tattoo artists will be spending a day inking designs onto people to raise money for Help for Heroes.
The event has been organised by Claire Hillman and will take place at 14 Tattooing in Marlborough Road, Ilfracombe, on September 13.
"Friday the 13th is seen as unlucky but in the tattoo industry it is a lucky day," said Claire.
"It was also our 13th birthday when we did the event for the first time last year."
All the tattoo artists taking place have been asked to fill an A4 sheet with designs, all around an inch in size.
A first come first served policy is being operated on the day with each tattoo costing £20. Designs can only be picked from the ones created by the artists, although Claire says colours can be varied.
Last year the event raised money for Duchenne Now, a charity close to the heart of Dominic Stacey, whose son Lil Dom suffers from the condition.
But this year the proceeds will go to Help for Heroes.
"We chose the charity because of recent events in the news and because we have an awful lot of military workers who get tattooed in here," said Claire.
