SuperTed to make a return.

SUPERTED is the latest of a series of much-loved children’s TV shows being revived for a new generation.

A 26-episode remake of story of a Welsh teddy bear with super powers is on the cards by the BBC children’s department.

SuperTed featured an overweight character called Bulk, a girl with bad skin called Blotch and a talking skeleton.

It will be 30 years since the improbable superhero graced our screens when it returns in 2016.

The Radio Times reports that Thunderbirds, The Wombles, The Clangers, Dangermouse, Bob the Builder and Teletubbies are also undergoing revivals.

But what TV show from your youth would you like to see make a return? Let us know in the comments box below.

All these old re-makes, which normally are no way near as good as the originals. No one seems to make any decent original children's programs anymore ... anyway, what has this article got to do with North Devon, local news?
