South Molton beat Old Technicians 33-15 this afternoon to go top of Tribute Devon One.

With previous leaders Topsham’s match against Salcombe postponed, Molton’s bonus-point win took them two points clear at the top.

A penalty try and scores by Simon Murch, Dan Smith, Matt Smart and Dom Stoneman gave Molton their victory. Stoneman added four conversions.

Totnes went above Topsham into second place with a 25-20 win at New Cross. South Molton visit Topsham next Saturday.

Torrington thrashed Plympton Victoria, Devon Two’s bottom side, 121-0 to move into second place. They scored 71 points in the first half at Donnacroft.

Ilfracombe’s home game against Tamar Saracens was postponed, as was the South West One West match between Bideford and Camborne.
