Snow is forecast for North Devon this weekend prompting the Met Office to issue two weather warnings.
The Exeter-based agency has issued yellow-graded ‘be prepared’ weather warnings of snow for North Devon on Sunday and Monday.
Forecasters are warning of the possibility of snow accumulations of up to 10cm to settle in places across the region.
A Met Office forecaster said: “There is a risk that a band of rain spreading from the South West during Sunday will turn to sleet and snow.
“There is the potential for accumulations up to 10cm in places and ice will increasingly become a hazard.
“The public should be aware of possible disruption to travel.”
The weather warnings are in place for the whole of North Devon throughout both Sunday and Monday.
