Showcase will tell you all you need to know

NOW half-way through the North Devon Apprenticeships Work campaign run by North Devon+ and a variety of partners, the highlight is approaching fast.

The Apprenticeship Showcase at the Barnstaple Hotel on March 13 offers all the advice and information anyone needs to know about apprenticeships at one event.

Starting at 8am with breakfast for earlybird business people and continuing through to parents hour from 5pm to 6pm, everyone is welcome: jobseekers, students, school, parents and businesses.

Visitors can find out about apprenticeships in information and communications technology, business services, retail, hair and beauty, sports and leisure, health and care, agriculture and animal care, engineering, marine careers, tourism and hospitality, creative industries and construction. They can meet training providers including Exeter College, Duchy College, Bicton College, Petroc, Acacia, Academy 4u, Group Training Development, Accountancy Learning Ltd, Cornwall Marine Network, Seafish/Seafood Academy, Hit Training, Construction Industry (CITB), Westward Pathfinder and the British Army.

Agencies attending include the National Apprenticeship Service, Jobcentre Plus, Careers South West, Wheels to Work, Advice Bureau+ and North Devon Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
