BARNSTAPLE Colts scored four second-half tries to win 33-3 at Paignton.
The backs picked up the spoils from the forwards' hard work, scoring five tries in all.
Barnstaple had most of the possession in the first half but it was not until the 25th minute that they scored, with Scott Warren ghosting over.
The forwards upped their workrate in the second half and started to grind down Paignton's resistance.
Warren drifted through to score under the posts then, after Paignton kicked a penalty, man of the match Michael Taylor ran straight through the middle to score.
Barum's best try came when some lovely handling through several phases was finished by Billy Teape who finished off the win with his second try.
Calum Sumners kicked four of the five conversion attempts.
