AN intrepid group of explorers have been able to use a new mobility scooter to explore Exmoor's coastline.
The Exmoor Society Tramper walk was held in association with the National Trust and allowed people to use an off-road scooter to travel from Heddon Valley out towards Woody Bay.
Several walks have been organised through the Heart of Exmoor scheme with support from the Exmoor National Park Sustainable Development Fund, CareMoor and the heritage Lottery Fund.
Scooter user Belinda Mountain, said: "I wouldn't have been able to walk out of the car park here.
"To be able to use the Tramper to come out onto this wild coastline opens a completely new world for me."
