AS a parent of two children who have attended Goodleigh School since January 2011, I can only give my utmost praise and commendation for the work that this small group of teachers do, and it is with disappointment that I see the reputation of the school in jeopardy.
Having moved from a much larger town school in Somerset I can only comment on the hard work and dedication that is so clearly demonstrated from this school, from its regular productions to its most recent amazing adaptation of Romeo and Juliet on the Willowbank.
The care, commitment and dedication is clearly evident and, commenting on my own experiences at Goodleigh, it has far exceeded my expectations. I have never experienced a school in which the head teacher knows each and every one of her pupils on an individual level.
I sincerely hope that this recent negativity does not overshadow the excellent and outstanding job that all the staff at the school do on a daily basis.
Keep up the good work!
