PATCHES of heavy rain and thunder are forecast over North Devon this weekend.
A Met Office forecaster confirmed that we are likely to see scattered patches of heavy downpours and thundery spells throughout much of today and tomorrow.
He said: “The rain is set to be heaviest around lunch time today, with it gradually getting lighter, and fully clearing to leave a bright, clear evening.”
He added: “Showers from the North are set to creep in overnight though, creating a rainy start to the day on Sunday.
“Throughout the day tomorrow there will be a mixture of bright spells and scattered showers, which will begin to ease towards the evening.”
