North Devon Raiders will kick off their fifth season in the South West Rugby League on Saturday.

They begin with a home premier division game against Exeter Centurions at Barnstaple’s Pottington Road (2.30pm).

It has been a busy close season for Raiders, with a new coaching team and host of new players. They will be aiming to at least match last term’s third-place finish and achieve a place in the play-offs.

Up to 35 players have been attending Wednesday evening training sessions under new head coach Stuart Harrison.
