FOLK talent, Roholio, will be performing at the Plough this month.
After a busy summer supporting Ethan Johns, playing at Pilton Green Man festival and numerous radio appearances they are back and with a fresh new line-up consisting of local songwriters, Roseanna Ball and Mike Lake.
“Mike can play numerous instruments including double bass and that’s really brought a whole new dynamic to the sound of Roholio. We’ve stripped it right back, added some harmonies and it feels a lot more natural now and raw,” said Roseanna Ball
Roholio will be joined by the soulful, haunting tones of young local talent Kiera Osment.
“We have never collaborated with another act before but we couldn’t pass up the chance to work with Kiera so expect some gems in the set list,” added Roseanna.
The group recently launched their fourth album, Evergreen.
Roholio with Kiera Osment is at the Plough Arts Centre, Torrington on Thursday, October 31, 8pm. Tickets: £10. Box office: 01805 624624.
