CANCER Research UK's Relay For Life is returning to North Devon this June after the success the event saw in 2011.

The fundraiser, which is being held at the North Devon Athletic Track in Braunton, will see teams of men, women and children take part in a 24-hour relay in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Event organiser, Stanley Westlake, is urging local people to sign up to the overnight celebration.

He said: "Relay For Life is a great way to spend time with your friends, family and colleagues while raising money for a seriously worthwhile cause.

"We would love to hear from anyone who wants to find out more how they can get involved.

"This is a unique event and every single person in North Devon can play a part."

The day will involve a wide range of fun activities that the whole community can get involved in.

Relay For Life will be taking place over the weekend of Saturday June 8 and Sunday June 9.
