RNLI lifeguards are making a return Croyde and Woolacombe beaches from tomorrow.
The charity's lifesavers have started their safety patrols in time for the 2013 Easter school holidays.
The two North Devon beaches will be patrolled by RNLI lifeguards each day of the school holiday fortnight from March 29 to Sunday April 14.
They will also be patrolled over weekends throughout April before the main season starts on Saturday May 4.
Last year, more than 50,000 people visited RNLI lifeguarded beaches in Devon during the Easter period and the lifeguard teams dealt with 20 incidents and aided 35 people.
