A PORSCHE driver is to face trial accused of dangerous driving after allegedly been seen going at 120 mph on the A 39 in North Devon.

Robin Stoneman pleaded not guilty to driving his Porsche Carrera dangerously on the A 39 at Holmacott, near Bideford on July 16 this year.

The 54-year-old, of Hanson Park, Northam, will face a trial at Exeter Crown Court later this year and was granted bail by Judge Francis Gilbert, QC.

Terry Holder, for the defence, said Stoneman disputes police evidence that he drove his car at more than 120 mph.
