Police have released details of four young people they want to speak to in connection with a series of arsons at Ilfracombe's Benricks skate park.

PCSO Karen Grant said police were called to the skate park around 7.30pm on Saturday, April 27.

She said: "We had reports that a group of youths were destroying the fencing around the skate park and setting fire to the wood inside the skate park at Larkstone.

"We have a description of four young males possibly aged between 13 and 18 who we would like to speak to.

"One was wearing
denim jeans and blue top, another was wearing a grey top and brown jeans, the third was wearing a black top and black jeans and the final lad was wearing a grey top with a white wooly hat.

"Three of the four benches at the skatepark have also disappeared over the last month and they appear to have had the metal legs cut off before being removed."

Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101 quoting crime reference number CI/13/414.
