DRUGS worth just over £2,500 were discovered in a freezer, North Devon Magistrates heard.
It was among a quantity of amphetamine found by police in Ilfracombe, along with other drugs.
Some scales were also found at the address.
Andrew Haswell, 43, of 3 The Villa, Arcade Road, Ilfracombe, was convicted of three drugs charges at earlier hearings.
These were possessing 277.02g of amphetamine with intent to supply, possessing 51.01g of cannabis resin and possessing 6.52g of cannabis, all controlled class B drugs.
His case was adjourned until Tuesday for pre-sentence reports.
At an earlier hearing the court heard some of the amphetamine seized would have been supplied by Haswell to others if he had been asked, but it would have only gone to a close knit group of friends, on a not-for-profit basis, on the understanding that they would reciprocate.
Laurence Overend, for the defence, said his client had suffered an amphetamine addiction for 30 years but was now clean.
Magistrates gave Haswell a custodial sentence for eight weeks, suspended for six months, with a supervision requirement including a low intensity drug rehabilitation order for three months.
