Ryan Gumbley gave his best performance yet in a big win against Curtis Hill, of Devonport ABC.
It earned the Bideford visitor the award for best boxer of the night on Hill's home show at Plymouth Albion Rugby Club.
Known for his gutsy displays, Gumbley showed his talent, too, pressing his opponent against the ropes and making him pay with fast combinations.
Finding the movement and jab difficult to cope with, Hill was hurt by fierce left and sent to the canvas in the final round. He showed heart to reach the bell as Gumbley claimed a unanimous win.
Rob Palmer made a winning return for Bideford at Plymouth, two years after his previous fight.
The 28-year-old former Barnstaple member, who had a brief stint as a professional, displayed his familiar style against Devonport's Brad Bugdale.
Keeping his hands low and relying on fast reflexes, the elusive Palmer landed flurries of punches from all angles.
On an impressive comeback, he switched stances at times and connected with a variety of shots to take the verdict from all three judges.
