DR FEELGOOD return to the Palladium Club, Bideford in a rare visit to the South West on Friday. Formed in Essex in the early Seventies, the band have enjoyed global success with a string of hit singles including Roxette, Back In The Night, Going Back Home and See You Later Alligator – which gave the group their first gold record.
The current line-up features Kevin Morris on drums and Phil Mitchell on bass, approaching 27 years in the band, and Steve Walwyn on guitar, who has been with the band for 20 years. Vocalist Robert Kane (formerly of the Animals) is the most recent addition – joining in 1999.
Julien Temple's film Oil City Confidential released in 2010 tells the story of the group's formative years featuring the Wilko Johnson era.
The band continues to tour extensively throughout the world and will be at The Palladium Club, Bideford on Friday, November 9, 8pm.
