BRILLIANT Bhangra beats promise to bring a bounce to The Factory this weekend. RSVP are a band known for their high energy, interactive and fun shows – and they are determined to get you up and partying.

From playing massive stages at Glastonbury (five years in a row) and Womad to concert venues around the country, RSVP are a band spearheading the renaissance of live Bhangra in the UK.

Every show comes with an introduction to Bhangra dance, with RSVP's emphasis on partying Punjabi style.

RSVP's musicians are drawn from one family across two generations.

And, while being wholly rooted in an authentic living tradition, they are unafraid to innovate.

RSVP are at The Factory with support from Zamba on Saturday, May 17, 7.30pm. Tickets: £8 in advance, £5 (NUS) plus box office booking fee at www.undergroundtickets.net and www.northdevontheatres. org.uk. Also Beats Workin, Barnstaple, and North Devon Theatres box office (01271 324242).
