An overturned caravan caused large tailbacks on the M5 at the A361 North Devon Link Road junction today.
Police were called to the scene of the crash, which occurred between junction 27 (A361, Tiverton) and junction 26 (Wellington), at around 11am.
It is understood a car and caravan jack-knifed causing the caravan to overturn on the northbound carriageway.
Two lanes of the motorway were blocked and traffic queues were reportedly heavy in the area.
All lanes were reopened and the incident cleared by 1.30pm.
