A STUDENT studying personal training and sports massage is in the running for the title Europe's Perfect Teen.

Dolton beauty and Petroc college student Candice Peachey, 18, has already been crowned Devon's Perfect Teen.

She now goes through to the national finals held in the Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl, Wales on Saturday, March 16.

If successful at this preliminary heat, Candice will go on to the World's Perfect Teen competition which will be held in Orlando, Florida in August.

Candice lives with her parents, Lorraine and Gary. She has been modelling since she was 12 and has been entering pageants for two years.

She said: "My parents have supported me all the way. My mum came to my very first photo shoot."

Candice represented Devon in the Miss Teen Great Britain competition aged 16. She said: "When I became older I was too short to walk on the runway. I moved on to doing pageants where there was no height or size restrictions."

Of Europe's Perfect Teen competition, Candice said: "In the opening round all the girls will have to wear a silver cocktail dress. The fashion round is where we wow the judges in an outfit of our choice.

"After that it's the bikini round. Studying personal training and sports massage I try to keep in shape.

"Finally, we wear a full length gown and all girls will be asked a question and have one minute to answer."

Candice is grateful to her sponsors Emma-Jane Photography and Photorealm Photography.

"Having two companies believe in me and what I'm doing is amazing," she said.
