NORTH Devon could be in for snow tomorrow as the Met Office issues a yellow weather warning for the South West.
The severe weather warning is in place across the region from 2am tomorrow morning until 3pm.
The Met Office is warning that rain is likely to turn into snow, which could settle across higher ground. Any snow fall across lower ground is unlikely to build up on the ground and will quickly turn to slush.
A chief forecaster for the Met Office said: “An area of low pressure is expected to move eastwards on Friday. There remains some uncertainty in its track and therefore on the risk and location of any snow.
“This warning will be kept under review and the public are advised to keep up to date with the forecast and warnings.”
People are advised to be aware of the potential for some disruption to travel especially during tomorrow morning’s rush hour.
