DANNY Jenkins hit all five goals as Shamwickshire Rovers fought back from 2-0 down to beat Park United 5-3 last night.
The Appledore striker, who only signed North Devon League forms with Shammy this week, made a dramatic impact for his new club.
Having beaten Barnstaple AAC in their first Premier Division fixture on Saturday, Park continued their fine start as Sol Wheatley and Steve Skinner curled in shots from outside the box.
Shammy stayed in contention with Dan Elston making a key save and Jenkins turned the match with a hat-trick before half time.
Although Skinner headed a third goal for the hosts, they were punished for poor defending as the finishing of Jenkins made the difference.
North Molton ran riot on Tuesday too, thrashing Fremington 7-0.
Josh Dekker and Darryll Reed put them two up at the break while James Galliford impressed on his debut.
Dekker, Luke Holland (two), Stuart Cameron and Josh Heslington completed the rout.
Boca Seniors flew out of the traps to win their derby at Barnstaple AAC with something to spare.
Ciaron Lishman (two) and Whitecross brothers Ben and Elliot put the champions 4-0 up by half time. A second-half consolation from Ollie Rigler was all the Ammies had to take from a 4-1 defeat.
Two new strikers made an impact as Bideford thumped Dolton 10-0. Greg Holland, fired a hat-trick and Alan Woodcock scored twice.
Nathan Bate, Phil Kelly, Anthony Moyse, Paul Dart and Adam Copp got the singles.
It has been a demoralising week for Dolton who were docked three points for failing to fulfil their fixture against Shamwickshire on Saturday.
Bradworthy continued their encouraging start as Tudor Placinta (three) and Matt Carter secured a 4-2 victory at Torrington.
With Kevin Darch scoring a penalty and Tom Bulley getting Torrie’s second, the result was a marked improvement on a day-one thrashing at Braunton.
Torridgeside had to battle for a 3-2 win at Shebbear United where Nathan Walter (penalty) and two late strikes from Harry Stevens gave them the edge.
Matt Facey headed Shebbear in front and sub Ben Moulder restored their lead from a cross by Matt Coles before the home side paid the price for indiscipline with Martin Davey sent off for a second yellow card.
Cassian Blackmore and Sam Brown scored as Ilfracombe Town earned a 2-1 win over Appledore who replied through sub Brian Levien.
Braunton were always in control at Barnstaple FC after Nathan Knight gave them an early lead. Sam Box (two), Scott Maynard and a rasping strike from Mark Gilfillan wrapped up a 5-0 win.
