A social media craze which sees people nominating others to down pints of alcohol has been rivalled by a new internet trend which sees people carry out random acts of kindness.
The infamous ‘Neknomination’ game, which has spread across Facebook over the last fortnight, sees people nominate each other to down pints of alcohol.
However, it has got out of hand with people trying to better each other and has seen some people down pints of urine, vomit, animal intestines and, in one, a chicken’s head.
The game, branded “extremely worrying” by North Devon police, is now being rivalled by a new ‘RAKnomination’ craze which sees people nominate others to carry out random acts of kindness.
A Facebook page launching the new game has been set up within the last 24 hours and shows one woman buying a food shop for a dad with a young child.
In the video, the strangers can be seen hugging after the random act of kindness.
The craze is similar to that of the plot of Hollywood movie Pay it Forward which encouraged people to pass on random acts of kindness.
