VISITORS and locals in Ilfracombe will be able to learn about life and activities around the harbour with a new fish trail.
The project, which has been jointly funded by North Devon Council, Ilfracombe and District Tourism Association and the Fisheries Local Action Group, is made up of eight information boards around the town.
They give details on various facts, including the fishing industry, beach conservation and points of interest around the harbour.
They also contain fun facts and activities for children to do.
Harbourmaster Rob Lawson, who came up with the idea, said: "There's so much to see, do and learn about our beautiful harbour, even though some of our visitors might not have been aware.
"I hope this fish trail will help to answer many of their questions and entertain and inform them along the way."
Executive member for development at Ilfracombe, Councillor Mike Edmunds, said: "This is a great project, which I'm happy to support.
"I hope it is well received by visitors and locals alike, and helps inform people about the activities around our working harbour."
