THE laid-back acoustic vibes of Neil Halstead will headline the first gig of the year by Three Sticks Productions. This will be the only UK date that Neil will be performing before heading to Europe with his VU tour.
Neil set social and music media alight in January with the announcement that his former band Slowdive are set to reform. He also revealed they will be performing at this year's Primavera Festival, Barcelona alongside Queens Of The Stone Age, Pixies and Arcade Fire.
At this gig in Pilton Hall support comes from local talent Douglas E Powell and the Rising Spirit.
"This show is set to be an outstanding night of wonderfully crafted songwriting and is a rare opportunity to catch Neil Halstead performing in the very intimate setting of Pilton Village Hall," said Doug. "This one is not to be missed."
Neil Halstead is at Pilton Village Hall on Saturday, February 22. Doors open 8pm. Take your own bottle. Tickets: £8 are available in advance from www.threesticks.co.uk.
Three Sticks Products was set up to bring top music acts to North Devon. Planned gigs include Bridie Jackson and the Arbour (April 12), Jim Crawford (May 17) and Martin Harley (June 7).
