A BRISTOL band which combines bold improvisation with atmospheric grooves comes to North Devon Jazz Club on Monday. Moonlight Saving Time use world rhythms to create a unique sound in contemporary jazz.
With influences ranging from Chick Corea to Massive Attack, the band offers a strikingly fresh take on established jazz repertoire, as well as thoughtful and melodic original compositions.
Led by vocalist Emily Wright and featuring trumpeter Nick Malcolm, the band won the Emerging Excellence award from the Musicians Benevolent Fund last year.
