A man suffered a suspected shoulder injury after two lorries collided on the A377 near Copplestone this morning.
Police were called to the scene shortly after 10am after an Iveco lorry, registered to an address in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and a concrete mixer, from the Crediton area, collided.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said one of the drivers suffered a suspected minor shoulder injury in the crash.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital to be checked over.
Fire crews were also called to the scene although neither of the drivers were trapped and they were not needed.
The road was blocked in both directions for just over an hour between the Elston Lane junction and the Queen Elizabeth Drive junction.
Both vehicles were recovered from the scene and the incident was cleared by 11.40am.
