FARMERS looking for an income from woodland are invited to an event in May run by the Royal Forestry Society.
It will cover the best ways to use locally sourced, low value, wood in building projects.
The conference has top of its agenda how best to create the conditions to add value to trees. Speakers and practitioners will have sustainability at the forefront of talks on subjects such as timber engineering, processing and procurement.
The society has organised the conference at Stoneleigh Park for May 1.
