SEE Marilyn Monroe as you’ve never seen her before in a no-holds-barred performance detailing her decline.

Alone in her bedroom, adorned in dressing gown and slippers and overdosed on pills, watch as the woman behind the icon reveals her remarkable life; a biting intelligence, a frustrated talent and an imperfect body.

A stark confessional, The Unremarkable Death Of Marilyn Monroe offers the audience an unorthodox interpretation of the Hollywood legend, leading us to the moment of her death.

Dyad Productions creates, produces and tours classic theatre with an innovative and contemporary emphasis. This radical interpretation of one of the world’s most famous women is Dyad’s fifth original production in as many years and, although a work of fiction, aims to expose the truth behind the legend.

The Unremarkable Death Of Marilyn Monroe is at studio@QT, Queen’s Theatre in Barnstaple on Wednesday, June 4 at 8pm. Tickets: £12.50 (general), £10.50 (concession), £9.50 (NDT member), £6 (under 25). Box office: 01271 324242 or www.northdevontheatres.org.
