Learning to knit in the New Year?

Is learning something new one of your New Year's resolutions?  Do you knit already, and want to brush up on

your skills or learn a new style?  Barnstaple's

Knit & Natter Group would be happy to help you along.

We're a very informal and friendly group with knitters (and

crocheters) of all ages and abilities.  Our

"veterans" are always happy to share tips and help with problem solving, or we

will all simply admire what you're making!

Everyone has their own style and members are currently

working on intarsia, Fair Isle, Aran, modular and lace knitting projects.  Some of us knit from patterns, some invent

their own, everything from scarves to fun knits or designer garments.  We can suggest projects for beginners too,

and hope to encourage more people to become confident in this creative and

therapeutic craft.

The group meets every Tuesday evening from 5.15-ish to 7.30

at Costa Coffee in Barnstaple High St.

You're welcome to join us for as long as you like.  There's no charge for the group, but please

buy a drink (we heartily recommend the cakes too).  Just head to the back of the shop and you'll

find us.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.
