MINI dealership Westerly Barnstaple is inviting North Devon residents to be among the first to see and test drive the new MINI Hatch at an exclusive launch at the Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe on March 15.

The car has been completely re-engineered and equipped with brand new technology, although retains a dash of the original 1959 model.

Three lucky residents could win a MINI Bag and MINI goodies, while children could win their very own remote control MINI by designing a MINI of the future.

Dealer principal Steve Puttock said: "We have been sponsoring the theatre for a number of years now and have been looking for an opportunity to use its amazing facilities to bring a new model launch to the stage."

Erick Muzard, head of Operations at North Devon Theatres, said: "Westerly Barnstaple are big supporters of North Devon Theatres and it's great to be able to offer a platform from which to launch the latest model of this classic."

As well as being able to see the car and ask the dealer team about it, residents can enjoy acrobatic displays, a short film about MINI, a ride and drive event, and lunch. There will also be a remote control car track for children to race MINIs against each other, while the adults can drive the real thing on the road in the exclusive Ride and Drive event.
