WRONG PHOTO: Kai Hirst.

THE Journal would like to make it clear that the photograph used to accompany the story headlined “Driving ban for keys in hand”, which appeared on page 16 of the Thursday, December 19 edition, was not that of Matthew Parkin.

We regret any embarrassment caused to Kai Hirst, of Performance Pcs, one of North Devon’s only independent Windows and Apple repair centres. Mr Hirst’s photograph was incorrectly used with last week’s story.

I think it pretty obvious it couldn't easily have been Kai Hirst, after all he was already banned from driving last November as reported in the journal and due to his unenviable deceit that came to light after he had a prang and it came to light the crud had been driving without having ever passed his test - for some seventeen years .... http://tinyurl.com/pyyn35q People do seem to forget their own foibles can catch up with them whenever they appear in the news, and what a great accolade it is for the chump .... ROFLMAO .... ♪♫♪♫

i rather think that HUFFED has to have a re think here as i believe that if it were they who had the pic wrongly used in this newspaper then they would make hue n cry to have an apology made- also do not mix up personal bad feelings in with the good grace of a newspaper to correct a mistake- get a life
