JOSH and Fred King teamed up in an unbroken partnership of 120 to take Bideford to victory in the Stayindevon.co.uk North Devon League.
Josh scored 53 off 46 balls and Fred 56 off 55 – both hit three fours and a six – in the five-wicket win against Barnstaple and Pilton in the Division One match at Raleigh Meadow.
Barnstaple had scored 246 for seven in their 45 overs with Tom Popham and Byron Saunders scoring half centuries.
Popham hit 69 and Saunders 78 not out off just 56 balls with 11 fours and two sixes.
When James Ford was the fifth man out in Bideford's reply, for 34, they still needed 120 off 16.2 overs.
The required rate of more than seven an over was no problem for the Kings, though, and Bideford reached their target with 12 balls to spare.
Pete McMillan scored 56 for Beaford but after they were bowled out for 149 they lost by four wickets to Belstone in Division Two.
Lynton and Lynmouth, all out for 130, lost by 84 runs to Shobrooke Park. Jeremy Bingham took four for 32 in Shobrooke's 214.
James Tythcott was unbeaten on 59 as Westleigh, replying to Hatherleigh II's 154 all out, completed a seven-wicket win to maintain their 100 per cent record at the top of Division Five.
Stephen Ayre led Bratton Fleming II to a three-wicket win over Nomansland, scoring 73 not out.
Ryan Bowden had made 63 in Nomansland's 185 for nine, which saw Simon Jennings take four for 53.
