A police operation in Ilfracombe saw two men arrested and cash and cannabis seized last week.
Uniformed and plain clothes officers spent last Monday, December 10, taking part in a crackdown on shoplifting and drug-related incidents.
After stopping and searching a man in the street who was found in possession of cannabis, officers searched a house just off the High Street where they found cash and cannabis in the lounge.
Police had seen the man enter the house once before searching him when he left, police press officer Philippa Thompson said.
Two men, aged 20 and 42, were arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply. They have been granted police bail until January 15.
