Ilfracombe Town travel to St Blazey in the FA Carlsberg Vase tomorrow.
The Bluebirds will hope to match their previous trip to Cornwall – a 4-1 win over St Austell in the FA Cup last month.
Cup football has brought the best out of Combe this season with impressive wins against St Austell and Willand Rovers, in the Devon St Luke's Bowl.
But their form in the Toolstation Western League has not been good, with one win and three defeats from four games.
With St Blazey holding the same record in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League, tomorrow's tie looks set to be tight.
Ilfracombe have been knocked out in first-round qualifying in three of the last four years.
They enjoyed a run in the competition in 2011 when Neil Bettiss scored in a 1-0 win over Plymouth Parkway and Ross Middleton converted a penalty to knock Winterbourne United out in the following round.
Their best ever Vase run was finally ended in a replay at Larkhall Athletic after Mike Hedden scored in a 1-1 draw at Marlborough Park in the original third-round tie.
