Owen Howe and Sean Downing both scored twice as Bideford beat AFC Totton 4-0 at the Sports Ground tonight.
After Saturday's 2-2 draw at Chesham United, the Robins continued their fine start to the Calor League season with a dominant display.
Totton have been hit by financial problems and their inexperienced team were no match for a confident home side.
Downing charged down an attempted clearance and provided a simple finish for his strike partner Howe to score the opening goal on 34 minutes.
Bideford could have put the result beyond doubt before half time but they were more ruthless in the second half with Downing nodding in the second after good work from Connor Clifford.
The third goal came from the direct approach as Downing instantly controlled a kick from Steve Oliver, the goalkeeper, setting up Howe for his third goal in two games.
Downing then capped an outstanding performance by adding the fourth with a composed chip over Steve Hollick.
With four points from their first two games, Bideford can head with confidence into the weekend for the home match against Biggleswade Town on Saturday and trip to Truro City on Bank Holiday Monday.
