Mike Cornew scored his second winning goal in four days as Holsworthy beat Porthleven in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League.
After the 1-0 win over Vospers Oak Villa in First Division (West) on Wednesday, the Magpies continued their revival with a 2-1 victory over Porthleven at Upcott Field this afternoon.
Jason Cordice put them ahead after 15 minutes but the hosts paid for missing chances when Jordan Annear equalised before half time.
A tight second half saw few chances at either end until Cornew beat three players and drilled the decisive goal from the edge of the box.
Holsworthy have moved above Bude Town who slipped to their fifth defeat from six matches, losing 2-1 at home to Penzance.
Appledore suffered their first defeat of the season in First Division West, going down 3-0 to Stoke Gabriel at Marshford.
In the Premier Division, Steve Ebdy put Witheridge ahead from the spot against Ivybridge before the visitors hit back to win 2-1.
